The Problem: Life Gets in the Way
Like many people, my weight struggles began in my twenties. In high school, I was always on the move, fit, and full of energy. But as life got busier, work more demanding, and stress harder to manage, my healthy habits took a backseat.By the time I hit 25, my weight had climbed to 87 kilos. Between long hours, fast food, and no time to focus on myself, I was out of breath climbing stairs, avoiding mirrors, and constantly sucking in my stomach. My confidence was at an all-time low.
I knew I had to make a change—not just to lose weight, but to understand what was stopping me from creating lasting habits.
The Experiment: Putting Virtual Challenges to the Test
As Head of Funnel at The Conqueror, I knew our virtual challenges were designed to make fitness fun and engaging. But I wanted to see for myself: Could the small steps our users take every day really add up to big results? Here’s how I approached the experiment:
- I Chose a Challenge: I started with a walking challenge—something achievable but motivating. The goal was simple: walk enough to complete a virtual journey and earn my medal.
- Park a little further to get in a few extra steps.
- Or even just walk for 10 minutes around your neighborhood
What’s the secret to making fitness so fun?
- Stunning finisher’s medal shipped upon completion
- Virtual postcards along the journey
- Ability to track your progress through an interactive map on mobile app
- Street view of your virtual location
- Personalized digital certificate of completion

“Losing weight starts in the kitchen”
True, but did you know that walking reduces hunger hormones?
The more you move, the fewer cravings you’ll have. And you’ll find it easier to say yes to veggies and fruits.
Why?
Studies show that movement reduces Ghrelin – the hunger hormone – and increases Peptide YY (PYY), a gut hormone that suppresses hunger.
Even cooler? Getting active improves your body’s ability to regulate insulin.
What does that all mean?
The more you get active, the easier it is to make healthy choices—without even realizing it.
“No pain, no gain.” Bullsh*t.
Over 1 Million Conquerors prove otherwise
Losing weight doesn’t have to be hard. And it doesn’t have to be painful.Getting active can be fun; we’ve seen it firsthand with over 1 million people.
This isn’t just about weight loss—it’s about rediscovering the joy of movement.
